The Mobile Intel® QM175 Chipset, a member of the Intel® 100 Series Mobile Chipsets, marked its launch in the first quarter of 2017 under the codename "Skylake." This chipset is designed for mobile platforms, specifically catering to gaming laptops and high-performance notebooks.

Built on a 22nm lithography process, the QM175 boasts a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 2.6 W, making it well-suited for mobile devices where power efficiency is crucial. With a recommended customer price of $48.00, it targets a market segment seeking a balance between performance and affordability.

Supporting overclocking, the QM175 provides flexibility for enthusiasts to push the performance boundaries of their systems. It's intended for use in diverse conditions, including industrial and commercial applications, as well as in embedded systems and various PC, client, and tablet devices.

In terms of memory, the chipset supports up to two DIMMs per channel, accommodating DDR4 and DDR3L memory technologies. The inclusion of Intel® Clear Video Technology enhances graphics performance, supporting up to three displays for a more immersive visual experience.
