The Alcor Micro USB Smart Card Reader is built into many high end laptops, the name suggests that it is using a micro USB port, but this isn’t the case, it does use USB but it uses a small ribbon cable to connect to the systems USB hub chipset.
The drivers for Lenovo, HP and other laptops pretty much uses the same Device ID's, there is a package that is for Lenovo machines but it contains similar or the same drivers needed on other machines, so technically you could install them on a machine that isn't Lenovo and have them work (Do at own risk)
