When using this card reader on Windows or Android, there are no additional drivers that are required to get it to operate. If this card reader is not showing on the system that it has been plugged into there are a few scenarios (This mainly pertains to the USB-C connector.)
- The port connected is only for charging it doesn’t deal with data.
- The firmware of the Tablet/Phone doesn’t allow external devices to be connected. This can happen with Android and Apple devices especially.
- Try to use a USB port that is 2.0+ specifications
