Audiotrix Pro is based on the Yamaha OPL4 chip set which contains Wavetable and FM synthesis. Wavetable synthesis is
based on the digitized recordings of actual instrument sounds while FM synthesis is based on the manipulation of sine
waves. The Audiotrix Pro permits 24 voices of Wavetable sound and 20 voices of FM sound to be output simultaneously.
