Iomega ditto tape drivers are a pretty old piece of hardware these days, but if you are a data recovery expert you will want to find a good unit to recover tapes. From my experience I have been able to get new models of tape drivers from Ebay, still in the box! This the best chance of not damaging the tapes during recovery. Mainly because used tape drives get oil and dirt on the heads and other tracks that have been used.
