Extra Drivers are required to use SATA controllers on many operating systems. Some later versions of Windows 10, Windows 2019 Server may provide drivers either preinstalled or on the Windows installation media in a 3rd party directory. Driver going back to Windows XP are below. Installation procedure will vary depending on the OS. There is a read me in the root of the zip file that has further instructions.
