This is a generic controller that can be used on a PC, PS3, PS2 and PS1 and it shares the same device ID as many other controllers. The main reason for installing the driver is to add the Vibration functionality in the Joystick control panel. Make sure you use the original dongle because it won't work with bluetooth.
