When installing Windows 98 in emulators such as Virtualbox, you may notice after the install there isn’t drivers for Windows 98 graphics included with the Virtualbox addons. So when you’re using it the colors are probably going to stay at 16 colors which looks sub-par. Below is a generic driver that can be installed on Virtualbox using Windows ME, 98 and 95. This driver will give you 1024 x 768 and 16bit color depth.
