There is nothing extra required (other than a battery) to have this keypad operational on Windows, macOS, Linux or Android it is pair with Bluetooth  be picked up by the OS in a seconds are additional keys. 

• 1 x AAA Battery needed (Install first)
• Press and hold the Tab key on your new keypad for 3 to 5 seconds this will put the keypad into paring mode.
