The Epson Advanced Printer Driver 4 (APD) provides Windows support for compatible Epson receipt and POS printers. It enables printer communication, configuration, status monitoring, and reliable thermal printing for supported devices.
Quick Install Steps
- Download and extract – Download
APD_459aEWM_e.zip, right-click the ZIP file, and select Extract All. - Locate the installer – Open the extracted folder and find
APD_459aE.exe. - Install the driver – Double-click
APD_459aE.exeand follow the on-screen installation instructions. Select Yes if Windows displays a security prompt. - Restart and verify – Restart your computer if requested, connect the device, and confirm that it appears properly in Device Manager.
When using this product with any of the following programs on the same PC, use the versions listed below. When using printer sharing, be sure to check the version installed on the client PC before use.
