The HP AuthenTec AES2501A Fingerprint Driver 7.9.0.4 provides fingerprint sensor support for compatible HP notebooks running Windows Vista. It allows supported fingerprint recognition software to communicate with the built-in AuthenTec AES2501A sensor for biometric login and authentication.
Driver Installation
- Locate the downloaded
SP37812.exefile. - Double-click the executable to launch the HP SoftPaq installer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to extract and install the fingerprint driver.
- Restart Windows if prompted.
- Open Device Manager and check Biometric Devices or Personal identification devices to verify the sensor is recognized.
- Configure fingerprint enrollment using compatible HP fingerprint software.
Note: This driver provides hardware support but does not necessarily include fingerprint enrollment software. Compatibility depends on the installed AES2501A sensor and HP notebook configuration.
