The HP Realtek High-Definition Audio Driver 6.0.1.5548 provides audio support for compatible HP notebooks and desktop computers running Windows Vista. It enables the onboard Realtek audio controller to work with supported speakers, headphones, and microphone connections.
Driver Installation
- Download
SP38899.exeand locate the file on your computer. - Double-click the executable to launch the HP SoftPaq installer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to extract and install the audio driver.
- Restart Windows when prompted.
- Check Device Manager under Sound, video and game controllers to verify the Realtek audio device is installed correctly.
