Update Procedure

Follow these steps to update the digital piano firmware.

1. Open the keyboard cover.
   Opening the keyboard cover automatically turns on the digital piano.
2. Turn off the digital piano.
   Press and hold the Power button. The message “Don't disconnect the power.” will appear on the display. Continue holding the button until the message disappears and the piano turns off.
3. Connect the USB Memory.
   Insert the USB memory containing the update files into the digital piano's USB Memory Port.
4. Start the update mode.
   Press and hold the [Piano Designer] button while turning on the digital piano.
5. Enter the update process.
   Continue holding the [Piano Designer] button until “===update===” appears on the display. The update will begin automatically.
6. Wait for the update to complete.
   The display may disappear for approximately 20 seconds during the update. This is normal. Do not turn off the piano or disconnect the USB memory while the update is in progress.
7. Confirm the update.
   When “=update finished=” appears on the display, the update is complete. The entire process takes approximately 2 minutes.
8. Turn off the digital piano.
   Press and hold the Power button until the piano turns off.
9. Remove the USB memory.
   Once the piano is completely powered off, safely remove the USB memory from the USB Memory Port.

Important

Do not disconnect the power or remove the USB memory during the firmware update. Interrupting the update may prevent the digital piano from operating correctly.
