In order to get this older 1 TB Drive working:
- The Original DC Power Adapter 12volt/1amp or an aftermarket equivalent.
- Firewire cable or a USB Type B Cable to connect to a PC/MAC
If you are attempting file recovery, it is important to use a quality system that had an operating system from the time that this devices was made. In many cases this is Windows XP ~ Windows 7; and older versions of macOS. File recovery is absolutely possible with newer versions of Windows, but there is a risk of data loss and not seeing the drive at all due to changes in the way systems treat older drives, especially on Firewire.
