ABIT Device Drivers

Universal Abit, formerly ABIT Computer Corporation, was a Taiwanese company founded in 1989, specializing in high-performance motherboards for overclocking enthusiasts. By 1991, it became a fast-growing player in the market, going public in 2000. However, in 2004, ABIT faced financial troubles due to questionable accounting practices and a class-action lawsuit over faulty capacitors. In 2006, Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) acquired ABIT’s motherboard business and brand. The company rebranded as Universal Abit, focusing on component distribution. By 2008, Universal Abit announced its closure, officially ceasing operations on January 1, 2009, marking the end of the ABIT legacy.
