The Polaris 20 GPU, codenamed Ellesmere, was released on April 18, 2017. Built on the GCN 4.0 architecture, it has a 14nm process size with 5.7 billion transistors. It supports DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.3, OpenGL 4.6, and OpenCL 2.1. With 2304 shading units, 144 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and 36 compute units, it has a 185W TDP, 16KB L1 cache per CU, and 2048KB L2 cache.
