AMD Thames

AMD Thames Chipset
Manufacturer:

AMD Thames was a mobile platform used in budget and mainstream laptops during the early 2010s. Designed for low power consumption and affordable computing, it commonly paired with AMD Fusion APUs featuring integrated Radeon graphics. Thames-based systems were found in laptops from HP, Acer, ASUS, and Lenovo, supporting everyday tasks such as web browsing, HD video playback, office work, and light gaming. Most shipped with Windows 7 and later supported Windows 10. Although now considered legacy hardware, many AMD Thames laptops remain useful for lightweight computing, retro software, and Linux installations.
