The ARM9 core family includes models such as the ARM9TDMI, ARM940T, ARM9E-S, ARM966E-S, ARM920T, ARM922T, ARM946E-S, ARM9EJ-S, ARM926EJ-S, ARM968E-S, and ARM996HS. These cores were released between 1998 and 2006, but they are no longer recommended for new integrated circuit designs. Recommended alternatives include the ARM Cortex-A, ARM Cortex-M, and ARM Cortex-R cores.
