Additional drivers are not typically required for USB to SATA Devices, This doesn't mean that for some reason the SATA drive that has been inserted into the dock may need some additional software. In Windows you may need to use disk management to configure a drive letter.

This dock requires:

• The AC Adapter
• The switch on he back of the dock switched on
• USB 3.0 Type B Cable connected to your computer.

Disk cloning can be done without a computer.
