With any adapters like the Insignia™ NS-PU378CHM to get a good video resolution up to 4K you need to use a USB 3.0 Port. This may work on a 2.0 port but it isn't recommended. Not all phones allow the USB C port to be used for video so keep that in mind, and many are USB 2.0. No drivers are required for this to function on modern devices.
