Software for the GK61 Mechanical gaming keyboards can be downloaded below for Windows OS and macOS. The latest version of the software for Windows is 6.0.0.73 this is compatible with Windows 11/10 and older. This software contains the drivers to change RGB lighting and macro keys for extreme gaming setups. The GK61 is capable of combinations of color reaching 16.7 million making waves, windmills and other animations possible. macOS software is at version 1.0.0.26 and be installed on the latest versions including macOS 14/13/12/11/10.10+ this software is similar to the Windows software and the driver can change the way the keyboards operates.
The USB input on the keyboard is a USB C connector which by default comes with a USB A to USB C cable, but a USB C to USB C cable can be used as an alternative as USB A slowly gets phased out.
- Download the Latest Drivers: Access the most recent version of the GK61 software for your operating system. For Windows, the driver will be an executable file named something like
GK6XPlus Driver6.0.0.x.exe. For macOS, the driver will come as a disk image file, such asGK6X Mac App-1.0.0.x.dmg. - Save and Install: Download the file to your computer and save it to an easily accessible location. Double-click the file to start the installation process, as an administrator or elevated user for macOS if possible and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
