(hp) Synaptics TouchPad Driver 7.12.7 Rev H2 (Windows XP/2000)

The HP Synaptics TouchPad Driver enables touchpad functions on compatible HP and Compaq notebooks running Windows XP or Windows 2000. Install this legacy driver if the touchpad is not detected or its scrolling and pointing features are unavailable.

Installation

1. Download sp29294.exe.
2. Double-click the file to launch the HP SoftPaq installer.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to extract or install the driver.
4. Restart the computer if prompted.
5. Test the touchpad and its available features.

Note: This driver is intended for compatible older HP notebooks. Check your laptop model and existing touchpad hardware before installing.
