The Intel® 5 Series, formerly codenamed Ibex Peak, was a desktop chipset launched in Q1 2010, built on a 65nm process with a 5.2W TDP. It featured integrated graphics supporting HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, and VGA with Intel® Clear Video Technology. Expansion included PCIe 2.0 (x1, x2, x4) with up to eight lanes. It supported 14 USB 2.0 ports, six SATA ports, and Gigabit Ethernet. Advanced features included Intel® HD Audio, Quick Resume, and Matrix Storage Technology.
