Kionix Device Drivers

Kionix based in Ithaca, NY was founded on 1993, a privately-held company and a leading supplier of MEMS inertial sensors. Kionix serves four key markets: game controllers, hard disk drive protection, mobile handsets and personal navigation devices, in addition to medical, industrial and automotive markets. With core technology that was developed at Cornell University licensed to it exclusively by the Cornell Research Foundation and with leadership and support by Cayuga Venture fund Kionix has grown to be a leading supplier of accelerometers. Among its innovations is the first automotive grade, tri-axis accelerometer in a small form factor plastic package. On November 16, 2009 Rohm completed its acquisition of Kionix but it'll continue to operate independently and under the Kionix name.
