Socket FT1, also known as BGA413, is a CPU socket introduced by AMD in January 2011 for APUs codenamed Desna, Ontario, Zacate, and Hondo—collectively known under the "Brazos" platform. These APUs integrate Bobcat CPU cores with Cedar (VLIW5 TeraScale) GPUs, offering support for DirectX 11, UVD 3 video acceleration, and AMD Eyefinity multi-monitor capabilities (up to two displays). Designed for low-power applications, Socket FT1 targets netbooks, tablets, and compact PCs with efficient performance and multimedia support.
