The Dell Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) Driver 12.8.0.1016 supports compatible Dell computers running Windows 10 and Windows 8.1. It provides storage controller drivers and supports configured SATA storage features, including RAID where supported by the system. This package is intended for systems with compatible Intel storage controllers.

Driver Installation

1. Download Serial-ATA_Driver_JDYXC_WN_12.8.0.1016_A00.EXE and AHCI_Intel_W8.1_A00_Setup-JDYXC_ZPE.exe
2. Double-click each downloaded file to launch the Dell installer.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions..
4. Restart the computer if prompted to complete the installation.

Note: Check your current SATA controller mode and system compatibility before installing or changing storage drivers. Changing from RAID to AHCI, or vice versa, without preparation can prevent Windows from booting.
