This drive dock requires the AC Adapter that is included to be used, and to be plugged into a USB 3.0 port for fastest data access.
- SATA 3.5in and 2.5in can be used
- Don't add a RAID array to retrieve data, this should be done on the original machine.
- Windows XP can't see drives larger that 2TB
The drives may need to be assigned a drive letter in Disk Management if they are not appearing on a Windows computer, if the drive is new you may need to initialize the drive.
No additional drivers outside of what is included with the operating system are required to use this device.
