Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., known as Foxconn Technology Group, is a Taiwanese multinational electronics contract manufacturer headquartered in Tucheng, New Taipei, Taiwan. Foxconn is the largest contract electronics manufacturer globally and the fourth-largest IT company by revenue. It is also the largest private employer in China and one of the largest employers worldwide. The company was founded by Terry Gou, who serves as its chairman.
