The Realtek RTS5772 is a PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe SSD controller designed for entry-level to midrange solid-state drives. It supports up to eight NAND flash channels, enabling efficient communication with 3D TLC/QLC memory and allowing sequential read/write speeds that can reach around 6000 MB/s in some implementations. The controller is DRAM-less, helping reduce cost and power consumption while still delivering competitive performance for mainstream SSDs under the NVMe 1.4 standard. RTS5772-based drives are common in affordable M.2 SSDs.
