Drivers for the Prolific PL2303 can be download below. These are required for Windows and macOS systems to be able to communicate with the serial device that is in embedded into many industrial devices including GPS, project PCB’s and other devices that require Serial to USB adaption. Drivers are contained in a zip file that can easily be extracted by using Windows Explorers shell integration or alternatively a third party tool like 7-zip can also be used to extract the content on the archive. Once extracted, it's simply case of running the setup file as an administrator or in the case of macOS mounting the DMG file and running the installer as an elevated user.
Installation on Windows
Download the file: Prolific Driver - Windows Drivers.zip
This file can be extracted using Windows built-in extractor or another tool that you prefer. Once extracted.
