The VIA VT8235 is a popular Southbridge chipset known for its extensive connectivity features and compatibility with various processors. Developed by VIA Technologies, it was widely used in motherboards during the early 2000s.
The VT8235 offered a range of integrated peripherals, including USB 2.0, IDE, Serial ATA, Ethernet, and audio capabilities.
