Preservation and Sustainability
OEMDrivers.com was created to preserve rare device drivers and archive current ones that may become difficult to find in the future. By revamping older hardware, we help reduce the number of computers in landfills, contributing to a greener future. Without access to these drivers, much older hardware would become obsolete, so our work ensures these devices remain functional for years to come.
What are OEM drivers?
OEM drivers (Original Equipment Manufacturer) are proprietary software that enable hardware devices (such as keyboards, mice, sound cards, and graphics) to interface with host operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, or Android.
No Malware, Just Drivers.
Too often, when searching for drivers for a specific piece of hardware, we've found ourselves— even as technicians— navigating misleading driver websites and tools that attempt to install malware or fake diagnostic and driver detection software. These sites often require payment to remove the unwanted software.
How does this oemdrivers.com work?
Essentially, if a company is still supporting a device, we will always link directly to their official driver repository. Once support has ended, we will provide a cached copy of the driver.
If there is a driver that you can’t find on our site, we will find it for you. Please contact us on our discord or facebook page to get us searching for the driver you need.
Who are we?
Founded by technicians, OEMDrivers.com serves as a resource for fellow technicians, amateurs, and those learning to fix their own computers.
