Preservation and Sustainability
OEMDrivers.com was started for preservation of rare device drivers and also current device drivers that could become harder to find for future generations. Revamping older hardware means less computers in landfill. Older hardware without these drivers can be rendered useless.
What are OEM drivers?
OEM Drivers (Original Equipment Manufacturer) are proprietary pieces of software that interface a physical piece of hardware device (keyboard, mouse, sound, graphics etc.) with a host Operating System (OS) such as Windows, macOS, Linux or Android.
No Malware, Just Drivers.
Too often when looking for drivers for a particular piece of hardware we have found ourselves (even as technicians) having to avoid the tricks and traps that other misleading driver websites/ Driver tools that are use to try to install malware and other fake diagnostic/ driver detection tools often requiring you to pay the to remove the software.
How does this oemdrivers.com work?
Basically, if a company is still supporting a device, we will always link directly to that companies driver repository until such a time that the support has expired then we will use a cached copy of the driver.
If there is a driver that you can’t find on our site, we will find it for you. Please contact us on our discord or facebook page to get us searching for the driver you need.
Who are we?
