Compact Flash (CF)

Compact Flash (CF)

CompactFlash (CF) is a popular flash memory storage format introduced by SanDisk in 1994. It uses a small, durable card with a 50-pin interface, originally designed for digital cameras, industrial equipment, and embedded systems. CF cards offer high storage capacities and fast data transfer rates, available in Type I and Type II formats. Though largely replaced by SD and microSD cards, CF remains valued in professional photography and legacy devices.
