Prolific USB to Serial Driver 3.3.2.102 (Windows 10/8.1/8/7)

The Prolific USB to Serial Driver 3.3.2.102 is a device driver for Windows 10/8.1/8/7 x64 (64bit) & x86 (32bit) enables communication between USB port and a serial interface via a Prolific PL2303 Chipset. In particular this version of the driver fixes code 10 that is experienced with later versions of the driver that was designed to remove support for clone chips that were flooding in from China . This 3.3.2.102 version of the driver is essential for various legacy hardware devices that rely on this disparity for older chipsets that were not actually clone chips. serial communication, some modems, GPS , navigation systems radios, industrial equipment, and other peripherals that do not natively support USB out of the box.

The 3.3.2.102 version is compatible with Windows 10/8.1/8/7 x64/x32 (64bit & 32bit based installations) of the Windows operating systems,  though this version was designed for Windows 8 it does install on Windows 10. 

Installation of the drivers

These is one thing that should be noted about these drivers, when Windows is restarted if there are new drivers in existence on the computer they will automatically update back to these versions. There is a patch below that rectifies this issue.
