- Most devices don't have USB4 as of (8/22/2025)
Note: The DisplayPort (DP) connector on this device relies on DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) to properly transmit both audio and video signals from a compatible source, ensuring high-quality multimedia output. In addition, the USB-C input, labeled as Power-in, requires USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) support to enable efficient pass-through charging. This means that when connected to a power adapter or hub that supports USB-PD, the device can charge while still maintaining full functionality.
- MacBook® models with the M1 and M2 chip will only support 1 external display
We don't have drivers for this device, it is advertised as not needing any. Until we can get hold of a unit for a tear-down we are not sure what chips it has.
